Hope you are all escaping the flooding!  It has certainly been an experience lately!  Hopefully it will move out before Saturday for our meet at The Woodlands Waves.  Below is information that they shared with us regarding parking, set-up, warm-up, etc. Our arrival time will be the same as last week: 6:45-7:15am. The Woodlands Waves pool address is 7505 S. Forestgate Dr, The Woodlands, 77382.  Basic Directions are:  go west on Woodlands Parkway past Kuykendahl.  Turn left at the 2nd light (Forestgate).  The entry to the pool is on the right.  Parking in the lot is restricted to pass-holders. All other traffic needs to park on the street (Forestgate or around the corner on Flintridge.) Cars can pull in and drop off equipment – but will be asked to move if they do not have a pass.  **PLEASE NOTE: pass on to your team that they should NOT park in the Dove Trace subdivision across from the pool.  Their car could get towed!

Set up area for visiting teams is on the basketball court behind the playground equipment. We welcome your swimmers to play on the playgrounds, we just ask swimmers not to pour water on the slides (somehow this became a “cool thing” of sorts with our team, that last year caused a slight head injury, so now we ask for no slip and slides).   We will provide the parking spaces beside the handicap spaces in front of our playground, for your team to set up tents should you need for team check in or your age group parents to line up swimmers.

The Waves will warm up from 7:10-7:40am.  Visiting team warm up time is 7:40-8:10am.  

There will be an officials meeting at 8:00.  There will be a timers and scribes meeting following the officials meeting usually about 8:10/8:15.

We do not announce scores so if anyone on the team would like a scoring update have them ask their team rep.  Depending on the speed of the entries, we may or may not post updates.  We encourage our parents to use meet vision on our home swim- us site.

We do not sell heat sheets.  We make those available in PDF for our parents to print off our site. There are two bathrooms available. One is located inside the pool area to the right.  The other is located outside the pool to the right as you enter the pool area.  Our ready bench is located on the right side of the pool entrance.
