Good morning team!  Sprint Sizzler is right around the corner with the meet tomorrow and Monday.  I'm sending out a volunteer reminder for the meet.  

 

Sprint Sizzler is an invitational meet Co-Hosted by the Northampton Cudas with SSAN.  Sprint Sizzler is the Cudas primary fundraiser for the team.  Because of Sprint Sizzler, we have been able to keep our registration costs down to one of the lowest registration fees in the entire league.  Additionally, the Cudas have been able to purchase much needed equipment for our swimmers such as replacing age group tents/tarps/canopies that are over 10 years old and a new Dolphin Timing System which speeds up the home meets and provides more accurate results for the swimmers.

 

There are volunteer slots remaining for the meet on Sunday and Monday.  The swimmers need your help to put on a great meet.  Remember, this is our meet and we are inviting other swimmers from around the league to attend.  Hosting an invitational meet is no small task.  The Cudas need every parent volunteer to make it successful.  Parent volunteers on the Sprint Sizzler committee and Coach Laura have already put hours of work in behind the scenes.  We are now asking our parents to help plug in the holes we have to run the meet tomorrow and Monday.     

 

REMINDER: Parents are Required to volunteer for one shift at Sprint Sizzler if your child is swimming at the meet.  Again, this is a requirement that is above the 8 hours for the regular season volunteer commitment (in addition to).  If you haven't signed up already, please go online today to do so or contact Angela Collins at [email protected].

The swimmers and the Cudas thank all the parents for having such an amazing team!  Our team is truly special because of our parent involvement, excellent sportsmanship, competitive spirit, and dedication to community.
