    Cuda Sprint Sizzler Volunteering

    Hello Cudas!

On June 4-5 (Sunday & Monday) the Cudas are co-hosting the Sprint Sizzler Invitational meet.  It's a great opportunity to give your swimmer another chance to compete, while raising money to help support the Cudas!  Sprint Sizzler is a big fundraiser for the team, and we partner with the SSAN club team to put it together.  If you have a Cuda who swims in the meet, you are required to work one volunteer shift at this meet.  I've loaded all the opportunities onto the website, and Cuda slots will open up at 6:00 p.m. today.

    A few things to note:

1.)  Sprint Sizzler volunteering is completely separate from the 8-point Cuda requirement.  If you have an 8-point volunteer job, or have already signed up to fulfill 8-points worth of work at normal meets, you still need to login to the Cuda site and claim an additional volunteer slot at Sprint Sizzler.  "Buying out" of the Cuda volunteer requirement does not apply towards Sprint Sizzler.

2.)  If you have a child who has swum for SSAN at any point during the last year, you will have to login to the SSAN site and sign up for a separate volunteer spot through SSAN.  If you child never competed for SSAN and only was a member of SSAN for summer tune-up; if your child is no longer swimming for SSAN; and/or if your child is a current member of SSAN but is not swimming in Sprint Sizzler...you still must login through the SSAN site and fulfill a volunteer slot.

3.) Because this meet is structured a bit differently than our normal meets, the lengths of shifts are a little bit different.  Please click on the small gray question mark near the job title to see the time commitment associated with each job.

    Thanks everyone...GO CUDAS!
