CUDAS PRACTICE SCHEDULE: 

Morning: Tuesday June 6 to Friday June 16 (M-F): (choose morning or evening)

• Ages 11-18 - 8:00 – 9:00 a.m.
• Ages 7-8- 9:00-9:45 a.m.
• Ages 6 & Under - 9:45-10:15 a.m.
• Ages 9-10 - 10:15-11:00 a.m.

Evening: Tuesday June 6 to Thursday 15 (M-TH): (choose morning or evening)

• Ages 10 & under (M-TH) 5:00-5:45 pm
• Ages 11 & over (M-TH) 5:45- 6:30 pm

Monday June 19- Friday 23 at Northcrest: morning practice for Trinity /Ponderosa qualifiers. No evenings.

• 6 & under (M-F) 8:45 - 9:15 a.m. 
• 11 & over (M-F) 9:15 - 10:15 a.m.
• 7-10 (M-F) 10:15 - 11:00 a.m.

 

CUDAS SWIM MEETS and RECOGNITION:

A winning weekend….

Congratulations to the Northampton Cudas on their success against the Windrose Stingrays! The CUDAS WON- 908 to 525….Way to GO CUDAS!

The Cudas also WON at the 2017 Sprint Sizzler hosted by the Northampton Cudas and Swim Streamline (SSAN). We scored 1,214.50 points and had 4 high point winners:

Brody Johnson age 11, Annie LeBlanc age 13, Olivia LeBlanc age 14, and Wally Baskett age 15-18.

A big THANK YOU to all of our families from Cudas and SSAN for their efforts to make Sprint Sizzler a huge success. And Thank you to all of our CUDAS hard working Assistant Coaches, swimmers, Volunteers, and Junior Coaches that help make the CUDAS GREAT!

CUDAS Seniors…..

Congratulations to our Class of 2017. We have 2 graduating seniors Mary Mike Brisbane and Emma Rose Stockton. They have been on the Cudas for more than 10 years and have shown dedication, sportsmanship, leadership, have always brought a positive attitude, and have always worked hard in all they do. Wishing you the best of luck on all future endeavors. We will miss you!

 

Meet information for this weekend….

 The swimmers look great and are getting ready to race against CUDAS HOME against the OAK RIDGE OTTERS - Saturday June 10!  

Oak Ridge Meet Info: We will are the Home Team

Meet arrival times: check in begins at 6:45 a.m., ends at 7:30 a.m., CUDAS warm-up- 7:15-7:45 a.m.

Meet Location: 6012 Root Road, Spring TX 77389

 Meet entries: Coach Laura will review the meet entries for Saturday June 10. She might adjust your swimmer’s events to create the best scoring line up for the team.

Relay Information: Relays are being finalized for the meet this Saturday.  We can only enter 3 relay teams (12 swimmers) male and female in each age group.  Relays are picked by time only and if the swimmer can legally do the stroke.  At time trials every swimmer got a time in every stroke.  However, that doesn’t mean they swam the stroke legally.  We are working on getting all Cudas legal in all 4 strokes.  Please understand that we need to pick the best choices for the relays so we can go for the win and have some fun.  The relays will possibly change every meet as every swimmer improves meet to meet.  We have a large team and I do my best to accommodate everyone, make it fun, recognize and guide every swimmer, and play by the rules.

If you are planning to show up to the meet late or need to leave early at any future meets, please let me know for relay purposes by Tuesday night.  If you are on relay teams A, B, or C in each age group you are expected to be at the meet and stay throughout. Thank you for your cooperation.

 

Cuda of the Week Award: You will start to see the Cuda black and lime green swim caps.  The black caps will be worn by the "Junior Coach of the Week", and the lime green are the "Cuda of the Week". These special caps/awards are selected by the coaches weekly for their hard work, great attitude, team spirit, meet and practice performances.

We will give caps out to all the swimmers below this week at practice.
