Cuda Families,

Our final regular season meet is this Saturday at Klein Oak High School! This is the Divisional Meet that will have all 5 teams from our Red 2 division competing against each other. This meet determines which team is the 2017 Red 2 Division Champion.  It is a very important meet for the Cudas, so we obviously want all our Cudas swimming at the meet.  Below are important details about this meet (Please read carefully so that your swimmer can participate in this meet):

1. ENTRY DEADLINE IS TOMORROW, MONDAY THE 12TH!!!!
2. No swimmer can be added to the meet after the data exchange on Wednesday. There are NO exceptions to this rule for the divisional meet.  If you have not submitted your entries, your swimmer will NOT be able to swim at the Divisional meet.
3. Swimmers must have swum in a dual meet or invitational meet to have official times. Only swimmers with official times may swim in the Divisional meet (the time trials swims are NOT official times therefore do NOT count as official times).
4. Swimmer may only enter an event that they have an official time.  For example: If the swimmer only swam in one meet this year and they swam the 25 free and the 25 backstroke, these are the only events the swimmer is eligible to sign up for at Divisionals. If you do not have an official time in an event, you may not swim it at divisionals, including on the relays.
5. Only "A" Relays swim at Divisional meets.
6. The meet will begin at 8:30am on Saturday the 17th at Klein Oak High School. Although I don't have a timeline yet, typically, the meet lasts until 3:30-4:00pm.
7. The Cudas have first warm-up from 7:00-7:25am. Please arrive at Klein Oak and sign in between 6:30-6:45am so swimmers can be in the pool at 7:00am for warm-up. The warm-up time is very short due to all the teams requiring warm-up time in the pool.  Please be on time or you will not have an opportunity to warm-up.
8. Set-up for the Cudas will be in the Klein Oak Commons area.  We will have our section taped off marked.
9. Since this is a large meet, Volunteers are very important to keep the meet moving efficiently.  If you have not signed up for a volunteer position, please contact Angela Collins to do this.  The Cudas have timer/scribe, ready bench, computer room, awards, concession and safety marshall responsibilities.  We would greatly appreciate you volunteering!
