Ponderosa Invitational Swim Meet Qualifier
Congratulations!
You have a swimmer/s who has qualified for the Ponderosa Invitational Meet, as we gear up for Divisionals this weekend, I wanted to send out a reminder for the Ponderosa Invitational Meet that will be happening on Saturday, June 24th and Sunday, June 25th. The meet will be held at Klein Oak HS Natatorium. Team members who qualify are encouraged, but not required to participate.
Some of you have already registered to swim, but for those of you who have qualified and not registered – we need your help. Please go to SwimTeam.us by Saturday May 17th and RSVP with “YES” or “NO” on the Ponderosa event. If your child is swimming, please go to SwimTeam.us site and select the events they want to swim by clicking on the swimmer icon on the Ponderosa event. The events in blue are the ones they are qualified to swim, the events in red they cannot swim. Please make sure to sign up for the events they want to swim, we cannot guess who wants to swim which event. If you qualify in additional strokes at the Divisional meet this weekend, we must know by Saturday which events you want to swim. The format is a Preliminary and Finals Meet. The preliminaries will be held in the morning with the meet starting at 9am. The top 16 swimmers in each event will swim in the A & B finals starting at 5:30pm.
Saturday June 24th will be the Freestyle and Backstroke events for all ages. Saturday morning session includes the Progressive Free Relay and the Freestyle relays for all age groups.
Sunday June 25th will be the Butterfly, Breaststroke and 100 IM for all ages. Sunday morning session includes the Progressive Medley Relay and the Medley relays for all age groups.
The fee for the Ponderosa meet is $5.00 per individual event and is payable in cash or check to the Northampton Cudas. Kristi Davis will be available at the Divisional meet to collect fees.
