Timers: Our team is responsible to provide timers for this meet.  Cudas have been assigned 1 timing chair for both Saturday and Sunday.  These timing spots do not count toward your volunteer credits needed as a member of the Cudas. Meet: Championship Meet format with events on Saturday and Sunday. Preliminary heats in the morning and finals each night. All relays are swum as finals in the morning session.

**For the finals, any scratches from the consolation or championship and first two alternates (17th and 18th place), must be made to the clerk of course/scorer within thirty (30) minutes following the announcement of the posting of the preliminary results. An undeclared “no show” for the consolation or championship finals will forfeit any individual and team points he/she has accrued in individual and relay events, and will be scratched from the balance of the meet.

Team Set-up: Team set-up areas are provided INDOORS in designated areas within close proximity to the ready bench and pool entrance. Swimmers are asked to keep set-up areas with the designated boundaries, and use courtesy and consideration as teams choose the size of their space. Large items such as inflatable mattresses will not be allowed. There will not be age group tents set up. We will all sit together in one area in the commons so look for fellow Cuda teammates.

Items to bring: chairs, Cuda stuff, books, games, snacks (such as fruit, PB&J, clif bars, smoothies, veggies, trail mix), water, gatorade, sweats (the commons can be cold for wet swimmers), extra towels, blankets, extra goggles and swim caps

Ready Bench: Since there are no tent parents at this meet, each swimmer (with their parent’s help for the younger age groups) is responsible to be at the ready bench area when their event is called. Please know your event numbers (they are listed in the meet time line) and listen for when your event is called.

RelaysThere are 19 relays entered this weekend, your swimmer may be entered in Ponderosa as a relay only swimmer even if they did not qualify in their individual events.  Please make sure to check the attached pdf (2017 PI Relays) to see if your child has been placed on a relay.  Relays were compiled by top times and availability. Relays are subject to change at the meet if needed.

Payment Reminder: If you have not paid for this meet please do so this week.  The amount is $5.00 per individual event payable in cash or check to the Northampton Cudas, if sending cash please put it in an envelope with your swimmers name. The team pays for relays.
